Easy, Free way to generate traffic
Today I would like to talk about free link giving. Now everybody loves free links. If you are a new or old blogger this will be profitable for you. All you have to do is write a post saying, i'm offering free links to whoever subscribes to my RSS feed and leaves a comment with their url. It's as simple as that. And I promise you, that one sentance article will be the most popular article on your site. I did one a couple days ago and it has generated 53 comments. My site isn't even that popular yet, but everyone jumps at free links.
My advice to you is to create thisi post. The comments will come flying in, then just post that person's url in that post. It's easy, and you get lost of RSS subscribers. And people really like you for it. And most of them keep coming back. I'm going to list two other wise people's links who have done this, so that you can get a free link from them as well as mine.
and then here's mine if you haven't left your url yet.

Lol… thanks man! But my link love didn't require anyone to do ANYTHING but leave their blog info. But I should've asked to at least subscribe to my feed, huh?
Oh well, maybe next time when I host a contest!

If you are using Wordpress, check out the Comment Luv plugin. It will not only link back to the main site in the comment, but also add their latest post. I got a link for it on my site, the red heart in the bottom right. You can't miss it

It's a good idea and it does work. The question remains though, are those new subscribers going to stick around for the content or will they wait to verify you have linked to them and unsubscribe?
In the long run, if even just half of them unsubscribe to your feed was the whole link frenzy even worth it?
