During the holidays, and immediately following it, is one of the hardest times of the year to write. Everybody has been with their families eating and celebrating, and not spending time on their blogs. If you’ve been noticing, a lot of the small to medium-ly popular blogs, have been slacking off a little bit in their posting. Many are trying not to think about it, so they can enjoy their little break. We saw at the beginning of the holiday season that bloggers realized they were going to be missing time and so they tried to sell. We also saw the almost sale of theuniversitykid, but slyvisions and linkersblog were both sold to new owners, because the old owners realized they wouldn’t be able to post enough during the holidays.
Even if you missed that golden opportunity before, don’t miss it now, many are still on vacation. Get a jump on your competition now, by posting your best posts in the next couple weeks. Make a commitment, New Years Resolution, and get into a habit of posting every day. The readers are still looking for blogs to read, and with your competition sidelined, start appeasing their hunger for articles today. Not only will posting every day help you a lot just in general, now it will be even more so with so few blogs posting.
